U radu programskog paketa libtiff, distribuiranog s operacijskim sustavom Fedora 15, uočen je sigurnosni propust. Libtiff je programska biblioteka koja se koristi prilikom obrade TIFF (eng. Tagged Image File Format) datoteka na operacijskim sustavima Linux/Unix. Propust se očituje u prepisivanju spremnika, a udaljeni ga napadač može iskoristiti za pokretanje proizvoljnog programskog koda ili izvođenje DoS napada putem posebno oblikovane TIFF slikovne datoteke. Svim korisnicima se preporuča odgovarajuća nadogradnja.

The libtiff package contains a library of functions for manipulating
