Objavljena je revizija sigurnosne preporuke oznake HPSBMA02624, prvi put objavljene 12. siječnja 2011. U izvornoj je preporuci opisan nedostatak vezan uz HP LoadRunner, alat za ispitivanje performansi aplikacija. Nedostatak je posljedica nespecificirane ranjivosti. Udaljeni ju napadač može iskoristiti za pokretanje proizvoljnog programskog koda. Revizija je objavljena zbog dodavanja paketa HP Performance Center na popis ranjivih sustava. Korisnicima se savjetuje prelazak na nove inačice koje ne sadrže spomenuti propust ili zatvaranje priključaka (eng. port) 5001 i 5002.

RESOLUTION

The vulnerability can be resolved by closing ports 5001 and 5002.

To Close Ports 5001 and 5002

   1. Create {InstallationFolder}launch_servicedatmerc_agent.cfg if it does not exist
      where {InstalllationFolder} is the LoadRunner or Performance Center installation folder
   2. Open {InstallationFolder}launch_servicedatmerc_agent.cfg
   3. Add to the [Attributes] section the key "HttpTunnel=0"

Note: Ports 5001 and 5002 are closed by default in versions of LoadRunner and Performance Center after v9.52.
